Build Settings
Applies to: All
Overview
Build Settings control compute, memory, Varnish cache, and Redis allocation per environment at /dashboard/[orgId]/project/[id]/environment/[envId]/build.
Default resources
New environments start with baseline CPU, RAM, and cache at the standard creation credit cost. Upgrades add recurring credit usage.
Steps — adjust resources
- Open the environment → Build Settings.
- Review current CPU, RAM, Varnish, and Redis sliders or inputs.
- Adjust values within plan limits.
- Save. Changes apply on next deployment or restart as indicated.
Steps — review cost impact
- Note the credit delta shown in the UI before saving.
- Open Billing → Usage to see environment-level allocation.
- Use Resource Allocation org settings if your plan supports pooling.
Tier notes
- Codeless and FlexLab share the same build settings UI.
- FROZEN orgs cannot increase resources until billing is restored.
