Overview
The Theme Marketplace lets you install and activate visual designs (themes) on a Codeless environment without writing code. Themes control layout, typography, and color — like switching templates in a design tool.
Key concepts
- Theme — the active visual skin of your site.
- Install — downloads the theme to the environment.
- Set as default — makes visitors see that design.
- Clear caches — refreshes stored pages after switching themes.
Steps
- Open Environments, select an environment, then Themes.
- Browse marketplace cards; read compatibility notes.
- Click Install on your choice.
- When install completes, click Set as default or Activate.
- If the front end looks unchanged, Clear caches on environment Overview.
- Open Quick Login or the public URL to verify key pages (home, contact, blog).
Template defaults
- Starter — Mercury default; marketplace swaps encouraged.
- Byte / Haven — matched bundles; fewer marketplace options by design.
Credits
Premium themes may show a credit price on the card — confirm before installing on production.
FlexLab projects do not use this UI — see Why Theme Marketplace Is Not Available.
