Overview
Settings holds basic information about one website (its display name, description) and the danger zone where owners can permanently delete the project. Most day-to-day work happens on Overview, not here.
Key concepts
- Project title — the label on your Projects list; safe to change for clarity.
- URL slug — part of the FlexSite address; changing it may break bookmarks — confirm with your team before editing.
- Delete project — removes all environments, domains configuration, and dashboards for this site. This cannot be undone.
Prerequisites
- Project admin or organization owner for edits.
- Delete usually requires org owner or explicit danger-zone permission.
Steps — update project details
- Open the project Overview.
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Edit the title or description to match how your team refers to the site.
- Save. This does not change visitor-facing content inside Drupal or Atom — only dashboard labels.
Steps — delete a project (danger zone)
- On Settings, scroll to Delete project.
- Read the warning — live sites, staging copies, and domain links for this project will stop working.
- Type the project name exactly as prompted.
- Confirm. Credits may be adjusted per plan rules; there is no undo.
Before you delete
- Export or backup content if you might need it later (Backups on Codeless).
- Remove or repoint custom domains at your registrar if this was production.
- Tell stakeholders the site URL will go offline.
Tier notes
- Atom projects may show Upgrade to Codeless here or on Upgrade — deletion is separate from upgrade.
- FlexLab deletion does not delete the GitLab repository automatically — confirm with your developer.
- FROZEN organizations may block changes until Billing is ACTIVE again.
