Site Alerts and Configuration Advisories

Applies to: All

Overview

FlexSite watches your hosted sites and surfaces two kinds of messages: alerts (something is broken or blocked) and advisories (something could work better). Both appear as banners on Overview pages so non-technical owners see issues before visitors complain.

Key concepts

  • Site alert — urgent, often red or yellow: failed deploy, billing block, environment in error, runtime failure.
  • Configuration advisory — suggestion, often blue or neutral: “Redis memory is low,” “cache disabled,” “environment idle but oversized.”
  • Fix link — may jump to Build Settings, Quality, or a help article.

Where messages appear

  • Project and environment Overview banners.
  • Quality and Build Settings cross-links.
  • FlexSite mobile app notifications (if your team enabled them).

Steps — understand an advisory (example)

  1. Open Environments and select the environment with the banner.
  2. Read the full text — advisories are written for site owners, not only developers.
  3. Example: “Redis below recommended size” means the site’s fast memory cache is small; raising Redis under Build Settings often helps busy pages load faster.
  4. Apply the suggested change or ask Flexy AI to explain the terms.
  5. Dismiss or snooze only after you fix the cause (snoozing does not fix the underlying issue).

Steps — respond to an alert

  1. Note whether the environment is error or provisioning stuck.
  2. Open BillingFROZEN or exhausted TRIAL credits block many operations.
  3. If billing is fine, read deployment logs on Overview or contact your developer for FlexLab pipeline failures.
  4. On ACTIVE plans, use Support for prolonged outages (not billing disputes).

Stay informed

  • Keep your Profile email verified for notifications.
  • Org admins scan Projects for badges across all websites.

Advisories apply to Codeless and FlexLab hosted Drupal environments.
